Terms of Use

The short, readable version of what using this site means for both of us.

Last updated 29 July 2026

Using the site

The tools are free to use, for anything you like, including commercial work. There is no account, no licence to accept and no limit on how many times you use them. You do not need permission to use the output of a tool — a compressed image, a generated PDF, a QR code — in your own work.

What is asked in return is only that the site is not attacked, scraped at a rate that degrades it for other people, or reproduced as though it were yours.

Your files and your content

Anything you put into a tool stays yours, and stays on your device. No rights over it are claimed here, because nothing is received: the file is opened by your browser and never transmitted. What a tool produces from it is equally yours.

The tools are provided as they are

These are free tools offered in good faith and tested carefully, but they come with no warranty. Software has bugs, browsers differ, and a conversion can go wrong. Keep the original of anything you care about until you have checked the result, and do not rely on a tool here as the only copy of something irreplaceable.

Nothing on this site is professional advice. The calculators are useful for working something out; a number from one is not a financial, medical, legal or engineering opinion, and several of them say so on their own pages.

Availability

The site is maintained but not guaranteed. Pages may change, tools may be added or withdrawn, and the site may be unavailable while something is fixed. Because the tools run in your browser, an installed copy generally keeps working even when the site itself is unreachable.

Which law applies

Any dispute is governed by the law of the operator’s place of business. If part of these terms turns out to be unenforceable, the rest continues to apply.

Changes

These terms may change; the date at the top says when they last did. Continuing to use the site after a change means the new version applies.
